Constitutive processes of heroic figures
Abstract: Heroic figures and the properties attributed to them – extraordinariness, moral and affective charge, autonomy and transgressiveness, strong agency, agonality – are constituted in dynamic cultural processes. This approach allows to critically question essentialist assumptions that heroes and heroines simply exist and must be described in their respective uniqueness
