The most important aspects of the response training to the color blue ("blue-training") are shown in the film. After completion of the training, it is demonstrated in an experiment that the blue-training was successful and that the bees are able to discriminate between blue and all grey tones (Ostwald-Series). During the food-training on the blue field, the arrangement of the test fields is often changed to avoid creating an accustomness to the location of the blue field. Using the same method, red colorblindness of bees is proved. A trick sequence compares the visible spectrum of bees and men. The experiments were done in the field.
