Abstract: Das Ziel dieser Abschiedsvorlesung ist, Kolleg*innen, Freund*innen und Studierenden Dankbarkeit auszudrücken und die Ethnologie an der Universität Freiburg sichtbar zu machen. Im Mittelpunkt stehen die Möglichkeiten, die Judith Schlehe in den vergangenen 20 Jahren erhalten hat, um die Disziplin mitzugestalten. Im Vortrag wird diskutiert, wie sich das Fach in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten verändert hat, was Judith wichtig ist und war und warum die Ethnologie in Zukunft von Bedeutung sein wird
Abstract: The purpose of this farewell lecture is to express gratitude to colleagues, friends, and students while making visible sociocultural anthropology at the University of Freiburg. The focus will be on the opportunities Judith Schlehe was given to help shape the discipline over the course of the past 20 years. The lecture will discuss how the discipline has changed over these past decades, what is and was important to Judith, and why sociocultural anthropology will be of importance in the future
