Bonnet en casque of white satin, embroidered in gold, and trimmed with white and gold lace, and gold fringe; bow of silver gauze behind: petticoat of lawn with a rich embroidered border. Roman robe of plain muslin; short sleeves; the whole bordered with a rich embroidery. Small muslin handkerchief within. Long pearl ear-rings. Gold chain round the neck. White gloves and shoes. FIG. CXXXVII. The front hair dressed in bushy curls, and very low upon the forehead, the hind hair within a red and white net; white bugle bandeau across the front; plumes de coq placed on the left side, with a diamond pin, put in the middle of a rosette of white satin riband. Petticoat of Italian gauze. Robe of red and purple peeling satin; short sleeves of white satin, cover- ed with a red silk net. Necklace of small pearls. White globe earr-rings. White gloves and shoes. White satin muff, lined with down.
