Logos for our data partners

Logos for the partners of the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek come in red and grey and are available in various formats. If your collection is already present in the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek, we recommend that you combine the logo with a link which directs users to your collection. Alternatively, the logo can also be linked to our website’s homepage (deutsche-digitale-bibliothek.de). All partner logos are also available in English.

To accompany the logos, we have provided you with short, generic pieces of text below, which you can feel free to reuse.

Version 1:
The Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek
[Name of partner institution] is a data partner/is a registered institution of the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek.
The Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek connects the digital collections from the cultural and scientific institutions in Germany and makes them accessible from one central hub. Over the internet, it offers free access to digitised works of art, books, music, memorials, films, documents and many more treasures from German cultural and scientific institutions. The Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek functions as a network, it links and presents its partners’ digital works and contributes to the democratisation of knowledge and resources.

Version 2:
The Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek
[Name of partner institution] is a data partner/is a registered institution of the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek.
The Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek creates free access to cultural and scientific heritage over the internet. It makes the collections from German cultural and scientific institutions accessible online without cost. To make this possible, the digital works from museums, libraries, archives, research institutes, media libraries, institutions for the preservation of historical monuments and image libraries are linked in a network. This means that millions of books, archived material, images, sculptures, pieces of music and other audio documents, films and scores can be found inside a central portal.
The Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek is also Germany’s contribution to Europe’s digital platform, "Europeana". Europeana has been collecting digitised cultural assets from all of the EU member states since 2008 and intends to use them to create a European cultural memory.
The Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek is sponsored by a network of excellence: major cultural and scientific institutions stemming from all sectors and financed by the government, the states and the councils guide the construction and expansion of the Deutsche Digitale Bibliothek.
